Living in the country: Part #2

You might live in the country, if you buy a cake at the Cub Scout Auction

and the theme of the cake is:

"In Memory of Susie: My 4-H Pig!"

Thanks, Spencer! She was dee-lish!!!!

Sometimes......

......things change. Sometimes we go through different experiences in life and all of a sudden, things look different. It's like taking off a pair of sunglasses and realizing how vivid and bright the world is. My son Kade, said it best when he said to me(after one day of being home from brain surgery), "Mom, does the sky look bluer to you?" Today as you go through whatever you are going through----good, bad or ugly------stop and look at all of the things that might be a little bluer in your life. Don't wait until something makes you realize it. Don't take anything for granted. I know that I hug my kids a little longer, kiss my husband a little longer and look around a lot more than I used to. Try it!
