Kort graduated from pre-school. He had such a good year. He also has the best teacher. We will both miss her!

Hello?....Is anybody out there?

I knew that when the perfect blog post came to my mind, I would know it. It finally showed up about 4:00 this afternoon. I had just gotten off of work(yes I started working like 30 hours a week, and yes it has purtin near killed me, but I am slowly coming around) and I was coming home. Not driving home, coming home---Dakota started Driver's Ed, and according to his teacher, if I'm in the car he can drive all he wants because he has a permit. If you are an English teacher, I apologize for that last sentence. It kind of had a mind of it's own. I had just read a slightly snarky comment on Facebook( joddi) and was having a pretty good trip home----except for the part where Dakota almost hit that camper. As we pull into the yard, I see two children RUNNING to the house. This is a sign that they have not finished the jobs they were assigned earlier. I have seen this before, no shocker. When I get in the house, I see three filthy faces with guilty looks on.

"Fess up! What happened?", the mom of the year says.

"Nothing" They reply in unison.

"Seriously guys, what did you do?"

"Look on the kitchen counter!"

My children had been to the dump and found this 'perfectly good' chair. They had all crawled down into the dump and drug it out and loaded it into the ranger(fast golf cart).
"It's for Indian Creek!" They all yelled together. "It's for the new camper!"
A unintended shudder spread through my shoulders.

Then my eyes welled up with tears & I thought about what great kids I have been blessed with.

"I will love my new chair(after a good healthy dose of Fabreeze/Lysol spray)
and it will be perfect for Indian Creek! Thank You!"
