Pre-conditioning: Part #2

This is the cowboy part of pre-conditioning. Several cowboys gather up a bunch of cattle and bring them up to a round pen made out of metal panels.

Step #1:The momma cows are kicked out and the cowboys rope a calf and drag him out of the round pen.

Step #2:Another cowboy then comes up and ropes the back legs.

Step #3:Two or three cowboys push over the calf.

Excuse me, I said a cowboy 'ropes' the back legs!

Step #4:Then they take off the ropes and hold the calf down.

Step #5:A little girl comes and marks him with washable paint and he also gets two different shots.
Then repeat step 1 through 5 like 400 times.
This is one of the last calves to do. They were a little excited to be the one to get him. You can tell by the six different ropes they are throwing at the poor little bugger!

Then the little cowboys hold the horses....

...while the big cowboys load up the panels.

And Wha-La! You can't even tell we were here. Well in a day or two when the grass comes back.

And what quality cowboy gathering is complete without a blinged out mule!
(Yes, the guy roped off of him-slowly cuz apparently mules are wired for speed)
